The Coastguard is open again, with a fine new glazed screen running the length of the Lower Deck and a new fireplace in the dining room. And we now welcome resident guests via the Roundhouse: a huge improvement.

The Coastguard closes for 4 weeks. We hate doing it, but there's much to do, as much under the floorboards and behind the walls as in the bits you see. We can't wait to reopen on 9th February.

We reopen after a brief closure. Most visible change is down in the bar and upper deck. The bar itself looks fabulous, with a good chunk of Cornish slate on which to position your pint of Tribute.

Our first view of the Mousehole Lights. Truly amazing and evidence of what can be achieved by a small group of people in a community. A legacy that must be treasured.

The Sunday Sleepover
Our first offer back in 2003 at The Griffin, and still properly popular. We hope it sits well with the laid back feeling of The Coastguard.
Kick back with us for Sunday lunch, the papers and maybe an afternoon on the terrace. Then supper, a good night's sleep and breakfast on Monday morning.

The Winter Escape
To 29th March
Our guests tell us that they like the seasonal sleepovers that we do at The Griffin and The Gurnard's Head. It would seem foolish not to offer them to our Coastguard guests.
So the one night Winter Escape is here in Mousehole until the clocks go forward again in March. From £125 for two people for Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. Email us at enquiries@oldcoastguardhotel.co.uk.
Includes up to three courses from our usual evening menu and will run until late March, except at Half Terms and Holidays, Fridays and Saturdays.
